You may remember these two from their Fairway Creamery Engagement Session that I’ve linked in this very sentence. Don’t worry, the creamery is actually back for a second time in this blog post as well! However, now we’ve got a wedding! An Uptown Broadway Room Wedding, that is. You see, The Uptown has several places you can get married. I’ve photographed in the main theater a couple times, never in the Valentine Room, and for the first time I got to visit the Broadway room!
Jenn and Jamel planned a wedding in five short months. They knew they wanted to get married, they knew they wanted to be together, and they knew the rest was going to simply fall into place. They were so intentional with their vendors that it absolutely blew me away.
They started the day seeing each other, which they both said they couldn’t have done without. They dressed in adjoining rooms with the doors closed and then dressed their son together. Their son walked Jenn down the aisle and their nieces and nephews all took part in the ceremony as well.
They told me from the beginning that they wanted everything to feel like a celebration. Not too stuffy. Not too planned. A big party with all their friends and family and they wanted a photographer who was inclusive. (You can read more about that little horn tooting in the link above)
This was truly a wedding that every single vendor brought the hype and energy that these two deserved and it carried until the end of the night where Jamel and Jenn grabbed cupcakes and handed them out in the line at Uptown. Please check out these sick dance moves, the love these two had for one another, and the OUTFITS.
