Family Tree Nursery Engagement | Meredith + Hannah

Finding places to take photos in the cold can be tough. Luckily, Family Tree Nursery in Overland Park was down to let us hang out.

Always call ahead to places like this open to the public, and 9 times out of 10 you’ll find that they’re great about it. We stayed to the edges and made sure not to bother anyone, which worked out in our favor as we more or less had the lay of the land. There were beautiful big green trees outdoor, some really nice indoor fronds, and more.

Before the session, Hannah made sure to tell me that her and Meredith weren’t those “serious” couples that took the model photos and was able to keep a straight face while staring ahead. I love couples who know exactly who they are and can tell me how to shoot. You never wanna receive photos back and say “who are these people?”

We took from Family Tree Nursery on to Downtown Overland Park where we took advantage of Hannah and Meredith’s last name to be. I’ll give you two guesses.

It’s Brick.

See how this builds into my brand? A perfect bun? Their hashtag is even #AnotherBrickintheWall

Their adorable sense of humor coupled with their philosophy not to take life too seriously was one of the many reasons we were obviously a good fit for one another. Take a quick peek at their wedding if you wanna see more of these lovebirds. They were absolutely adorable, took great direction, and were made to give each other goo goo eyes for life.
